This October, we’ll be showcasing our expertise at the Made in Yorkshire Expo, taking place on Thursday 16th October 2025 at the Accu Stadium, Huddersfield.
As part of Made in Yorkshire’s Exhibitor Spotlight series, a member of the MIY team recently caught up with us to ask a few quick questions about what drives us, what we’ve achieved recently, and what’s on the horizon for AML Instruments.
1. In one sentence – what do we do best?
We specialise in test equipment calibration, repair, and supply, helping businesses achieve precision and compliance through reliable service and fast turnaround times.
2. What’s the driving mission or purpose behind AML Instruments right now?
Our vision is to become the most respected brand for calibration, instrumentation, and test equipment supply.
That means understanding the operational demands of each customer so we can provide tailored support that makes a difference.
Internally, we invest in our people and infrastructure, expanding our specialist team, regional hubs, and international agents.
3. What’s been the biggest milestone in the past 12 months?
2025 has been a standout year. Highlights include:

Achieving UKAS accreditation for temperature calibrations, adding to our accreditations for weighing scales and balances.

Expanding into welding calibration.

Launching a collection and drop-off service for calibration.

Growing partnerships with Barrus and BINDER.

Extending our facilities with a new goods-in/goods-out area.
Alongside this, growth has been driven by both calibration and test equipment sales, with many new customers valuing our expertise and service.
4. Any exciting developments on the horizon?
Our next milestone is UKAS accreditation for electrical calibration, opening doors to more industries and customers.
In the meantime, we’re extending our temperature scope with high temperature and chamber calibrations in the coming months.
None of this would be possible without the “AML army” – our team whose professionalism and technical insight drive success.

5. Tell us something surprising or little-known about us
Our company slogan, “measuring success”, was coined by our very first engineer – a phrase that still perfectly sums up who we are today.
